We witnessed someone very dear to us, suffer with sudden hair loss. She didn’t understand why it was happening or what she could do to do to stop it. After visiting a physician, She found out she was suffering from alopecia totalis- a loss of all facial and scalp hair. Alopecia totalis is an autoimmune disorder and may be irreversible.
Losing her hair had a huge effect on her self esteem. Especially because she was one to get her hair professionally done regularly. Her hair was once long, curly and thick and now- gone!
We wanted to make her feel good again and also give her the option to have different hairstyles, like she was used to.
Being able to switch styles easily and conveniently made her feel and look good. Knowing how we helped her, made us feel good. We wanted to do the same for others.
So Who is She?
She is a mother, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a bold and brave woman. She’s fearless, she’s strong, she’s beautiful, she’s wise & she doesn’t hold her tongue. She’s loving, nurturing, funny and sweet. She puts others before herself. She’s very hardworking. She is always on the Geaux. She likes to travel, she loves to laugh loud and have fun. She earns, saves, and invests her own money. She doesn’t let her hair define her. She knows who she is and she is whoever she wants to be. She is She!
